  1. bad for your liver

  2. You should NEVER take Tylenol or any other Acetaminophen drug following drinking.

It can severely damage your liver and kidneys.

One Clinton aide ended up needing a liver transplant just from drinking a glass of wine and taking an Tylenol at nights for headaches.

  3. alcohol is absorbed quickly in the stomach, it dosn't have to go thru your intestines, when taken with medication, the alcohol will bind with the substance and cause it to be absorbed quickly and cause sudden high blood levels of the substance....standard Tylenol dosage wont do no harm but with some sedatives, alcohol will make it more potent, can possibly kill you

  4. Tylenol is broken down into a lot of harmless stuff, and a very tiny amount gets turned into a chemical called NAPQI. NAPQI is very toxic, and it's presence inflames the liver. Fortunately, there is a chemical in the liver called glutathione - but it takes some time and the liver gets mildly inflamed for a while. The liver is quite capable of dealing with this - it's there  to deal with unpleasant chemicals the body has to make or ingest.

Alcohol is turned into a chemical called acetylaldehyde. This chemical also inflames the liver. When you inflame the liver from two sources it's substantially worse. You can easily exceed the liver's short term ability to handle these two unpleasant chemicals, and that results in the liver forming scar tissue where it has been damaged.
