WhyIs that My ford Explore wont start after I drive it awhile?

Question

there is also a clicking sound coming out of the rear left side....there is a little door there and I opened it and there is a part that connects with many pipes to the gas tank

that part makes a clicking sound

not all the time

so I have to wait 30 after the car does not start and than it will start like nothing has happened

most likley a problem with ur fuel system but i have 2 no if its fuel injected or carbureted
