Why?Muslims people likes SPICY FOODS?

most of my friends muslim told me all muslim people likes spicy foods,,and i did not ask my friend bcoz i want to ask here in yahoo question and answer so that everybody can share me in your own opinion and idea,,,,you can share me your own opinion,,,thank you if you can share me..good luck...

A lot of non-muslim people like spicy food too.  Think of India.

Many cultures that evolved in hot climates started using lots of spices in cooking.  Studies show the spices help kill bacteria and bacterial growth.  This would have been a real advantage in hot climates before refrigeration.

actually ur eating choices depend on ur family....if from the very beginning, u've eaten the spicy things, then ur taste buds r adapted to it and u start liking spices more.....

muslims use more of spices in  food and they make delicious kindda food with lotsss of variants in spices.....so, from the very beginning of life, they r apted to spices and hence, they like it more.....

Religion has nothing to do with someone's taste for spicy food. I think you meant to say Middle Eastern people. The reason why people from the Middle East like spicy food is because that region is filled with amazing, rare spices. Basically it is just because they are used to eating food with spices in them.

Keeping up with the Joneses —  Thailand likes it REALLY spicy HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!! Lots of hot peppers.

It is because Arab food has always been spicy.  Before the days of refrigeration, adding spices was a way of preserving food.  The practice is still followed in some parts of the world today.  You should know, also, that Muslims belong to the religion of Islam and that not all of them like spicy foods, because all Muslims are not of Arab descent.

look Rose ...generally this depends on their liking or from childhood they would have been brought up like that.... ie eating more spicy food..... so, your friends may like..... not even your friends but all may like.....

Aside from the fact that spicy food kicks ***, spicy food is also used in hot places to make you sweat to cool you down.
