Wi fi connection problems for pokemon diamond?

Question

ok im at the nintendo wi-fi connection setup and i get conenction then after 10 seconds it goes down to nothing. im in a hotel with wi fi through out the whole thing and i get 3 bars for 5-10 secs its gone y does it go down and how come i cant access wifi first person to tell me how and it works ill give you a best answer when possible

the ds dosn't usally have a good strenght of connetion as a laptop so mybe thts why or  in the hottel there many people that use the internet during that time wich can make it a trafic for the wirless connention
