Wi-fi help on ds plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help?

i hav a d-link router and it said on the box wi-fi certifide and it even said on my laptop but t still doesnt work i dont want to spend anything and it did work one time but then it stop please help

You need to explain the problem more clearly.... Is the router a wireless router? are all the relevant  lights on? power, internet, wireless and usually a line light 1 2 3 or 4.  Only just bought a DS but haven't tried the wi fi game mode. If you have connected once then it can clearly be done, turn off DS restart router( turn off leave for at least 60 seconds) turn on router turn on DS in that order.
