THAI's rates are closer to 2600 baht

Air Asia will fly you for 1400 baht but they have some 99 baht specials on the return right now so R/T about 800 baht.  Cheaper than a first class bus ticket.

I flew Thai Airways from Bangkok to Udon Thani in May 2008.

I believe that this is the only company that flies on this route.

I also believe Thai Air are the only carrier to Udon

However on my last visit i got the bus it was :interesting : way to travel
