I imagine aliens are probably more likely, given that people have access to the whole of Loch Ness and still havent found any concrete evidence of a monster, whereas we have near enough 100% of the universe yet to begin exploring

Uh, are you assuming everyone has to believe in one or the other?

By "aliens" do you mean "life probably exists elswhere in the universe besides Earth" or do you mean the notion that such beings have been dropping by Earth for a cuppa?

Yes, most likely there's life elsewhere in the universe; no, we haven't been visited by such life.

As for Nessy, no, I ain't buying.

I don't believe in aliens. I don't think Loch Ness has a monster, I think it has some type of fish or animal we haven't seen before. Think about it, there was no proof of giant squid until very recently, but there were tails about them for centuries.
