Wich intex is the best to benchmark a portfolio of apple and microsoft? Dow Jones, S&P 500, or , NASDAQ 100?

Could anyone explain what are suppoused to measure each one of them please.

Nasdaq is made of technology stocks (like computer companies)

S&P 500 is the 500 biggest companies on the exchange (more or less -  they are also supposed to be representative of the market in general)

DowJones 30 are the 30 biggest industrial companies (like Caterpillar - think heavy industry/manufacturing)

If you watch the charts for these indexes they move in lock-step with each other (minor variations daily & weekly, but very strong correlations)
