  1. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............what do you mean?as if it bites you or wich is more aggresive?well then i guess its the white sharks that win ether way.but nether are that bad.

think whites are bad?wach great whites: outside the cage.

mark marks swims WITH NO CAGE and lives.not so much as a scrach.

  2. Either of those species has the potential to be dangerous.  There are only about 10 species of shark that can be dangerous to man.  Both of these on are that list.  What do you mean by "worse"?  You really need to be more specific or clear.

Some populations of tiger shark have been heavily fished.  Particular in the eastern Atlantic Ocean.  Unfortunately there is still a lot science does not know about sharks.

  3. Shark Week!

The Great White is dangerous and is the highest ranking when it comes to people attacks but the Tiger is known as the garbage disposal of the ocean.  It will, and has, eaten everything from license plates, tin cans and glass bottles to human remains (dead or alive).  Whole human limbs have been found inside Tiger sharks.  Not so much in Great White.  Great Whites tend to mouth you to find out what you are and then let go when they decide you don't taste like food.  A Tiger will eat you, or at least whatever part of you it can get.  Still...depends on the individual shark.

  4. they're both extremely dangerous but the great white is slightly more dangerous than the tiger shark.

  5. i'd say the tiger shark, for being more aggressive. You may have a chance with a great white.

  6. Great white shark is way more dangerous than a tiger shark. A great white is more easily irritated and more aggressive when irritated.

  7. By worse, do you mean more dangerous?

If we go by the official list of dangerous sharks (e.g. from the International Shark Attack File ISAF, an institution which analyzes and collects reports on shark attacks) the white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) ranks first, followed by the tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier) and the bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas). Most ranks are established on the basis of questionable shark accident statistics which leave the reader with the impression that approximately 78% of all attacks were not provoked by humans and that the amount of "unprovoked" attacks by white sharks even amounts to 98.7%.

But does this really mean that a shark practically always bites without having been provoked beforehand? That is exactly what statistics such as those stemming from the ISAF would like us to believe. The fact is, however, that when analyzing the situation in greater detail, the victims usually put themselves into situations, or already found themselves in situations which sharks find challenging or provoking and which prompt their reaction.

  8. A great white. Not just because it's big, but more naturally aggressive.

  9. great white

steve irwin was able to kiss the tiger shark and it didnt do anything to him. It was extremely harmless compared to what great whites are like. And Im unsure of the injuries/deaths caused by the both of them. I know great whites are responsible for a lot but Im unsure with the tiger sharks.

  10. Great white sharks are larger in size and are more likly to kill than with a tiger shark you more likly to get away alive.

  11. a tiger shark because they bite mostly anything but great whites are the main sharks that attack near shore
