Einstein is a physicist where as Bill Gate is a computer engineer. However Einstein is certainly a genius where as Bill gate is a very enterprising and extremely a talented person. Both have contributed in equal measure in their respective field.

You cannot compare two individuals from different fields that have no connection. Einstein was a great physicist, while Bill Gates was (is) a great businessman.

But if you think in terms of their works, then Einstein would any day be a larger figure than even most of the other physicist. His work is one of the landmarks in physics. He can be called the pioneer of Quantum Physics (but he hated the way it was being interpreted, especially by the Copenhagen interpretation.)

Bill Gates' work is nothing great if you comparing it to any other discovery in pure science, but great indeed for the Computing world. So as i said, you cant compare two different independent fields. (Even Einstein's theory is of no use to the Computing world)
