  2. idk..

  3. the best way to get in shape for surfin is just to be in the ocean. i surf all the time and your first time, your goin to hurt in places you didnt even know that you had but the best way to prepare is to be in the ocean. sponge and bodysurf get used to the waves that you r goin to be surfin and stay in the ocean for a while. go with somebody though cuz if stay in when ur tired u might get pulled out by a rip tide. if your lookin for weights or something like that you need strong shoulders and a strong steady core. also do some balance stuff like ride a long board around if you got one and get used to get ur legs under u. good luck

  4. swimming would probably be really good.  pushups would help because I know for me, once I fight all the waves and get out to the lineup, my arms feel like noodles and popping up is quite a task!

anything cardio would help a lot, and maybe light weights.

  5. It may be efficient to the seller of the DVD, but it won't generate core strength and endurance. You're lungs will be working overtime in the ocean and an exercise ball won't do a heck of a lot for that. Strength training and cardio, swimming, walking, bike riding would be a better choice. Gym memberships are pretty inexpensive these days, from 20 to 30 dollars a month. Just something worth looking into.

  6. swimming and paddling around on your surfboard is the best way to get your upper body in shape. running and cycling is the best way for your lower body.
