Wicked Wilma tipped to succeed in Bullet Day Is On 1 September Fillies´ Handicap
Wicked Wilma is likely to use all her experience in order to claim the Bullet Day Is On 1 September Fillies´ Handicap at Beverley in England on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Although, she does not have a very good record at this venue, yet she has won a single race here and will be looking to add more to that tally.
The seasoned mare has been delivering some decent results over the past couple of events and is carrying a very nice momentum. Despite that, she has not managed to impress the bookies, as they have not given the best odds of victory to her. She will enter today’s event with a starting price of 6 to 1.
On the other hand, Rio´s Girl and Pivotal Prospect have been priced better than Wicked Wilma because the latter has not managed to win any race during the ongoing season. She will need a special effort in order to break the shackles.
The eight-year-old mare has raced at different venues during her career and knows how to handle pressure. Conditions do not really matter to her, but she will still like the good to firm going at Beverley today.
The Alan Berry’s trainee made her first appearance in 2006 and has participated in 82 events since then. She has been unable to maintain a good strike rate, winning on just eight occasions.
However, the Irish mare has finished as a runner up on 13 times whereas secured the third spot in 14 races. This goes onto show that she has the ability to fight for the top three positions.
Wicked Wilma made her first appearance at Beverley in August 2006 and her performance in it was really good. She was priced 8 to 1 back then and secured the third spot in the end. She went onto win one event at this venue, but struggled in the remaining races here.
In her most recent race at this track, Tagula’s daughter finished fifth overall. She will need a much better effort than that in order to make a solid impression today. Her partner will be Julie Burke, who has partnered her on numerous occasions in the past as well.
