Could this possibly be true!!? Anyone know the cast list?? Will Idina Menzel be Elphaba and Christen Chenoweth be Glinda?

Yes there is going to be a Wicked movie!

But the bad news now:

1. It won't be out until 2014 (according to Gregory Maguire)

2. Its unlikely Idina and Kristin will be starring.

But now I can give you my ideal movie cast!

Caissie Levy as Elphaba (Idina's understudy, and a former lead for LA) or Willemijn Verkaik as Elphie (current Stuttgart Elphie)

Erin Mackey as Glinda (current LA Glinda)

Oliver Tompsett as Fiyero (UK's Fiyero)

Natalie Portman as Nessa.

Angela Lansbury as Madame Morrible

William Shatner as the Wizard.

Yes they are planning to make Wicked a movie, it's due out in 2010, but there isn't currently a cast list.
