I need a wideband sensor and controller that can simulate a narrowband sensor and also be programmable without the use of a computer. What do you recommend?

  1. Well, Holley makes a unit that is adjustable with screws but you still need a computer to view the map so you know what to adjust.

Also the Holley system kinda sucks.

Any sensor will act as narrow band if the ecu is set up correctly and able to control enough engine functions (Spark, timing & fuel + air flow monitoring). The wide-band aspect only means it is a better unit for setting up the system in a precise manner.

Did you mean an open or closed loop sensor?

This again is dependent on how elaborate the rest of the system is. If you are setting up an aftermarket fuel injection system it will depend totally on how much you are willing to spend setting up the engine to monitor and control the vitals.
