It just started this morning when I woke up, out of my left eye I more or less constantly see a semicircular blob, its not solid I can see through it. It moves with my eye when I look round and I can't see anything actual on my eye ball. Anyone any idea what this is?

  1. It sounds to me like eye floaters.

  2. They are called floaters they are harmless but you cant get rid of them either x

  3. There's a possibility that it could be glaucoma. Read up more about glaucoma and other eye conditions here:

  4. did you have a recient onset of flashes of light, like lightning or a light flickering?

did you have a sudden "shower" of black spots?

    are you diabetic?

do you have a high prescription?

You should see a retinal specialist today

  5. I would see my eye doctor- this might be glaucoma, which needs to be treated to prevent blindness. Glaucoma is high pressure in the eye that causes a blind spot directly in front of you, not affecting your peripheral vision.

  6. could be anythink an orb to a bit of dust or just that you had just woke up

  7. It might be a funkky floater. You might want your eye doctor to take  look and see if anything scarey is going on. Usually it is harmless, but ever so often it is a symptom of something else that can lead to trouble.
