I think you have expected a set of behavior from your wife.This is just for an example.Like behaving maturely among the public,Not laughing loudly in the public,taking decisions after consulting you.Doing the things how you want it to be happen.Always giving due respect to your parents,siblings and friends(normally this point, where most of the boys get hurt).

Sit and explain your expectations to her.Even then if she is not listening,just leave it.Accept as it is everything.Don't fight with her.Nothing can change a women unless she change her mind herself.

Just find what she expects you to do.Just do whatever she wants.That doesn't means you should leave your duties like taking care of your parents etc.Do your duty at the same time treat her respectively and discuss with her about your future life and family.Explain her which is very important in life.May be her perspective of life is different from you.Don't worry slowly explain the benefit of it.

Always show your love.Love heals everything.Don't be egoist.Forgive whatever she does.If you keep on forgive her,she'll develop the guilty feeling which naturally draws towards you.

If you have children just keep quiet for everything, when they grow up they definetly support you.This small sacrifice of forgiving your wife gives you a big gift of a family setup when the children grow up.

If you want a peaceful life just listen to your wife.
