Wifi USB Question?

Hiya everyone!

Just wondering, does it matter that the wifi USB Connection is in a different room, as my computer is in the room next to it. There is only a wall blocking it. Does this matter?

  1. Not really.  If you can connect well enough to ask this question, then you have answered it yourself!

    Seriously, though, most USB wifi adapters will happily work over longer distances horizontally than they will vertically.  You should be able to get a good signal unless your walls are metal-lined or, strangely enough, made of flint.

  5. It's ok if your wireless router is in a different room than your computer (if that was your question).

  6. As long as there is not many or no metal things between you and the USB which can cause interference. You can have a few,  but the signal will be much stronger if you don't. I was doing almost the same thing yesterday, connecting my Wii to my router. I bet its almost the same exact thing
