Wifi help!?

hey my parents have a wireless router downstairs so i can use my laptop upstairs all that works fine. but i don't have a printer i i wanted to know if i can send papers to there printer. it is not a wirless but were conneted together so i was just wonder if i could thanks

If you have all the computers together on a home network then you can print from your computer to the computer downstairs. Just becuase you are sharing internet though a router does not mean that you are on a home network, it has to be set up.  It may already be set up that way, ask your mom or dad if it is. If it isn't, it's very easy to set up, ask them to do it. What you need is a home network with printer sharing turned on. Windows has a network setup wizard that makes it easy.

Yes, simply go into Windows Help on their computer and look for instructions on Printer Sharing.  If you share the Printer on their computer you can print to it after installing it on your computer.  Note that there computer will have to be on whenever the printer needs to be 'hosted'.
