Wifi working for macbook but not ipod touch?

my macbook is using the wifi from my wireless router, but my ipod touch is not. It recognizes the linksys router but the wifi still is not working

does your neighbors have wifi because sometimes it connects to if you move around. Also try and use it other places that have wifi such as starbucks. If it works there then you might be connecting to a different wifi network, if it doesn't, i suggest you go to the apple store and have your ipod touch checked out.

Maybe you have a restricted wireless signal, in which case you will need a password, which you probably forgot in order to connect on the iPod. Also, many Apple products respond when you speak to them in Chinese. Try saying "connect" and maybe it ill work.
