Wigan Athletic boss Martinez does not blame Rodallega despite blunder- EPL news
Wigan Athletic boss, Roberto Martinez, refuses to blame http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Rodallega-c16414 after the striker gave away a late penalty, which cost his side two crucial points.

The draw has dented the Latics’ hopes of Premier League survival, as they are struggling in the relegation zone after collecting just 35 points and with just three games left in the season it is looking like an uphill battle for Martinez’s men to avoid the drop into the championship.

Martinez said, “It is disappointing because we couldn't get the three points but we knew it was going to be a very difficult game. Everton showed the experience they have got and what a competitive side they are”.
“Hugo is devastated, as you can imagine. Those are incidents that happen. Prior to that he had made three great actions at corners, defending with great aggression. Hugo has won so many points for us and will carry on winning points for us. That is the nature of the game and we will support him", added the Wigan manager
Furthermore, the Wigan boss has urged his side to remain focused and work hard until the end of the season to maintain their place in the Premier League.
It is looking like the relegation battle is going right down to the wire, as only seven points separate the last five teams in the EPL table, three of whom will the face the axe at the end of the campaign.
Wigan will be hoping for a much improved performance as they will face Aston Villa in their next fixture on May 7, 2011.
