Wii's Mario's Galaxy: there is a little creature that runs around?

Question

He is only in two stages that I have found. I dont know the actual name of the world, but one is in one of the beginning ones, maybe in the terrace and the second I think is in the engine room? His footprints show running around and then he pops up when you stop moving. Its a green money bag looking thing that is glowing gold out the top. It has legs. What is it and can you catch him??

or the one who hides under the ground?

I think you just use spin attck.

No, No, No...  Just do your "Spin Attack"!!  That usually covers enough area so that you don't have to be right ON TOP of him to get him...

Once you try getting him with the Spin Attack, I'm sure you'll agree that's the best way to get him...

Try firing star bits. That's what I tried. And it worked!
