My router is from att a 2wire , my wii cant connect case its too far away. When i try to connect on my wii it shows 2 out of 5 signal bars. What can i do . Any suggestions (Even if it means buying something) Or if some one knows how to raise the router to get more signals or something i dont know thank you for your kindness! 1. buy a nintendo Wi-fi USB connector i bought a used one at gamestop for like $30 and it has 5 signals all the time

  2. The router looks something like a NETGEAR WGT54 box, which is a cheapie with one antenna. You can stand this one on end and face the antenna upward.

Putting the router up high is also a good idea. For that you just need a longer CAT-5 cable. The Wii can be moved higher too, or out of the TV cabinet so that it gets a better signal.

Or you could get a router with two antennas - these use antenna diversity to improve range.
