Wii & WII FIT Help!!?

Ok i just got the Wii after standing in line at Walmart at 6 am lol .. they had 4 and i was #4 Geeesh... So my Question is .. Can the Wii Fit hook up to the Wii or are they totally separate items... Please help me ... :O) So if i bought just the balance board can that work with my Normal Wii.. please help Game console Dumb here!!

It will just work.

Its wireless.

the balance board works with the regular wii.  It is wireless.  Just make sure you read that directions and follow that prompts on the screen.  I had to do the same thing not to long ago.

Wii fit was made for the wii console without the wii you wouldn't be able to play it.

so you need the wii to play wii fit.

Well I'm not a brain at this stuff but i have both the wii and the wii fit myself and what happends is your balance board connects wirelessly to the actual wii console. When you buy the balance board you get a game disk with it, Put that into your console and follow the setup instructions
