take rubbing alcohol and put it on a cotton ball. then rub the wet cotton ball on the disk from the center ring to the edge in a straight like. rotate the disk so that the entire disk gets clean.

Please trust me. I've done this before. Honestly, this works.

1)Take a VERY DRY soft cloth. Please note that it needs to be dry.

2)Now carefully take your disc in one hand and cloth in the other.

3)Here's the delicate part. You have to GENTLY rub the disc while rotating it. Not too hard now!

4)Now check for more scratches/dust. Repeat until it is clean.

Honestly, this has worked for me lots of times.
