Wii games: Is Resident Evil 4 as creepy as Manhunt 2?

I just rented Manhunt 2 because RE4 was unavailable, however I found it to be too sinister for my taste.

I was wondering if anyone that has played both games could share their opinion.

Not really. It's nowhere near as violent.

Nope. It isnt bad at all. There are so frightening situations where you have zombies coming at you from all sides but it is never "sinister".

Resident Evil 4 is a bit more.. classy than ManHunt 2. The Horror is in-your face at times, but at other moments, it's based in the enviroment. The stormy weather, with an occasional flash of lightning that lasts JUST long enough to reveal the spanish peasnat ready to eat your face.

Here's an easier to understand metaphor-

ManHunt2 - Cheap straight-to-DVD slasher that relies on gore.

Resident Evil 4 - Big budget horror picture, with talented directors.
