Wii is frozen and only turns on

Question

ok, so i was playing my wii with my friend one day and we hit the home button to reset the game. After that, the wii froze completely and only turns on. i can turn it on but it wont show up on the tv, or eject the disk inside. Also if i turn on the power, a blue ring goes around the disk drive and it stays on until i shut the power off. Can anyone here help me with this?

Unplug everything and plug it back in.

If it turns out but nothing shows up on the screen something is up with the plug.

The blue light is supposed to happen. it means you got mail

Return it to the shop where you got it from. Tell them what is wrong with it. Tell them  that you still have a guarantee. And inform them about the game which is still stuck in there they may give you another one!! they should give you another wii or ask you to go to Nintendo. Nintendo fix wii's for free you just need to  tell them and ship it to them. but if they find out you have the homebrew channel or have used the Zelda hack then they won't fix it for you. Homebrew voids your guarantee.

you cant fix it on your own ,you should go to a good electronic shop and tell them to fix it if they cant buy a new one or if you still have the warranty card(and if you have not used it for more than a year) send it back to Nintendo to repair it.
