Wii remote rechargeable trouble?

I have 2 Wii remotes and a charging station. One of the Wii remotes wont turn on with the batteries in. I have charged it until the light started blinking. ( That means it is done charging) After it is done charging, it still wont turn on. I have the batteries put in right so i dont think it is the beatteries. Any help?

  1. i have the same problem i think the rechargeable batteries are dumb and some times break the wii remote


  2. I don't know what station you have, but I have the Nyko one.

    It worked and then stopped working, I got new remotes (under warranty, didn't for them) and it worked again. But then it stopped working, and now I have a new station.

    I've noticed that they've changed on the metal part, there's now a bump there.

    I'm guessing this is so it makes easier contact with the Wii Remote.

    Sometimes it just doesn't make good contact, and it won't work. This does not mean the batteries are bad or that the Wii Remote is bad.

    The contact plate just might need to be bent a little, so it makes good contact with the remote.

    Try calling the company that makes the charger and ask them if they'll send you new batteries.
