How far can i play from the tv with my wii?

The recommended distance from Sensor bar to Wii remote should be between 3ft-10ft.

In normal lighting, about 5-8 feet is the best. If you block out any sunlight, you can get more range.

Note that the Sensor Bar only has to do with the cursor functionality. Any game that doesn&#039;t have a cursor can be played up to about 20 feet between the Wiimote and the Wii, at which point the Blutooth connection becomes unreliable.

i don&#039;t know exactly how far but i have gone pretty far from it and still played bowling. i am sorry this doesn&#039;t really help but you should check the manual.

If I would have to guess, the sensor that the Wii comes with only reaches about ten feet, also the sensor bar can detect the buttons further than the wiimote movement.. I recommend saving up for another sensor bar.. one that reaches around twenty five feet is only about $20..

They also make sensor bars that are wireless to the wiimote and the wii itself..

The manual says it can be stretched up to 10ft away.

There was a news report on YouTube about the Nintendo DS&#039;s wireless signals with the manuals saying that the DS could only pick up other DS signals from 25ft. The news reported tested this out in a large shopping mall and they found it could still be caught from 300ft.

Maybe Nintendo are lying about the Wiimote to sensor bar distance too.

try it, ive played my wii from pretty farr away but if i sit on the couch [which is really far away] i cant play, try it yourself. that way you can know better [ie. the table] instead of like having to measure or something.
