  1. to do wi-fi u have t ohave wireless internet or buy a internet cable and go to settings in the wii menu and go to internet settings and go to connection3 for wireless and it will look for wireless connection and you have to have a password if your protection is locked for people hacking into your internet. It will do everything by itself and you dont need a buy anything and it is free. GOOD LUCK AND ITS AWESOME!!

  2. nope

    the Wii has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities.

  3. 1 Turn on your wii.

    2 Go to the wii options in the lower left hand corner

    3 Click on wii settings

    4 Go to the second page and click on Internet

    5 Click connection settings

    6 Click on connection 1

    7 Click search for access point

    8 Once it is finished searching, it will say click on one you want

    9 Find the connection you want and put in the password if you need to

    Hope this helps!!!!!!!  =>

  4. There are two ways to use the Wi-fi from your Wii, first you don't need to attach anything to the USB ports on the wii itself it already have integrated wi-fi inside the console.

    you need to have a wireless router and setup some basic steps to make your wireless work, such network name, password, etc.

    Then the options on your Wii will guide you through the connection is very easy.

    If you don't want to buy a router there's a USB wi-fi nintendo adapter that retails for about $40 and it's very easy to use, but this doesn't go on the Wii, it goes on your computer to transmit wireless internet to your Wii, you only install the software that came in the USB adapter package and the steps are very easy.

    Good luck and Enjoy it! It's so much fun!
