  1. Maybe. It depends on how much range it has, and how much it costs. I know someone with a hybrid Prius who just got a quote of $3000 to have his batteries replaced after a little over 3 years of driving. I live in Las Vegas, and the heat out here just destroys batteries. I've never had a battery last more than 3 years in the 20 years I've lived here. Some die after only 2 years. I know the batteries in the Prius aren't liquid sulfuric acid like a car battery, but evidently they don't last any longer anyway.

  3. That just depends how much they cost and what kind of range they have.  Currently there don't seem to be any details about this.

  4. is it available in north America ?? I will line up for it been looking for an electric car for a long time, But here in Canada the transport Canada will not allow electric car on the roads But if BMW is making one maybe they will reconsider..
