my family found a wild bird on a deck the last night. Its a Cedar Waxwing. Its either almost an adult or a adult. We tried to let it go but it won't fly up it flies down. Its fed like a baby bird. We feed him with tweezers. But to make my question short. Who should i call to help this little fella?

I live in Northern Illinois if that helps

  2. if it has feathers, it is a fledgling and the parents take care of the babies on the ground.  please return the baby in the same area that you found it.  stand back far enough so you can see if the parents have come back.  if they have not come back in a few hours,  please contact a wildlife rehabilitator in your area.  websites below.
