Wild Rhubarb chasing hat-trick in Myson Radiators Mares´ Handicap Hurdle
Wild Rhubarb will be chasing a hat-trick of victories in the sport, by winning the Myson Radiators Mares´ Handicap Hurdle at Worcester in England on Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
She is a pretty decent performer and will not make life easy for her opponents in the class-4 contest, which is scheduled to start at 17:30 GMT. A victory will earn her a cash prize of £2,534 in the end.
There are some other decent challengers lined up for action in the 2 mile 4 furlong event, thus the competition is not going to be a straight forward one. The punters will have to be careful while risking their money, as things will be a bit tricky.
According to the bookmakers, the best chances of victory are with Josh’s Dreamway, as she is carrying the winning momentum right now. Her confidence level will be high and she will give her best shot in order to claim the top spot.
However, the six-year-old mare does not have a very good record, when it comes to performing with consistency. She started off her career on a positive note, winning a couple of back-to-back events and things seemed to be really good for her.
Despite that, the Jeremy Scott’s trainee was unable to keep the momentum going and struggled to finish in the top-three on most of the occasions afterwards. Her recent form has not been bad though, as she has succeeded in a couple of races out of the last
three outings.
On the other hand, Wild Rhubarb has been mostly competitive throughout her career and she will not allow anyone to dominate the proceedings completely. She has been given a pretty decent starting price and the bettors will definitely look to gamble on her.
The seven-year-old mare has participated in a dozen races, winning three of them whereas finished in third place on the same number of times. In addition to that, she has also secured the runner up spot on a couple of times, which shows that she is a consistent
performer.
Importantly, the Jonjo O'Neill’s trainee has been delivering some excellent results in recent times and a repeat of that will put her in contention of a third consecutive win. She will be partnered by Maurice Linehan at Worcester.
