Wild Sauce set to stand first in App Handicap
Wild Sauce is all set to deliver winning performance and clinch first position in the Download The Blue Square APP Handicap that will take place at Ayr racecourse on Thursday, May 31. The Class 5 contest is scheduled to start at 2:10 (GMT).
On the Good To Firm track of 5 furlongs, the Bryan Smart-trained bay filly, will face 10 worthy competitors such as Bogini, Nearly A Gift, Lupin Pooter, Middleton Flyer, Ambitious Icarus, Rock Canyon, Busy Bimbo, Gran Canaria Queen, Majestic Breeze and Madam
Bonny.
A prize cheque worth £2,264 is ready for the supposed winner.
Wild Sauce staged a stunning debut on May 23, 2011 and finished 3rd in each of her first two races. After getting another third on January 27, 2012, the three-year-old novice runner elegantly broke her maiden in Bet At Blue Square Handicap on
February 17. She was 5-2 favourite for the race that took place at Wolverhampton.
This was indeed a fabulous success which boosted up the victor’s morale to a great extent. She demonstrated a splendid performance in the subsequent outing on May 4 and finished as a runner-up. This was her last outing.
Now, the brilliant daughter of Exceed And Excel out of Salsa Brava is determined to add another epic conquest to her career chart by winning the App Handicap.
However, Lupin Pooter can deny her victory. The David Barron-trained bay gelding started his career with a glorious triumph on June 17, 2011. He was 6-4 favourite for his very first race. The talented young horse moved on to finish 4th against
17 runners in his second and last start on May 18, 2012.
Currently, the son of Bertolini out of Carrie Pooter is ready to make a big impact in today’s event.
In this scenario, it is expected that there will be a tough tug of war between Wild Sauce and Lupin Pooter, and this battle is likely to make the event interesting enough.
So let us enjoy the tremendous action today. Good luck to all the contestants who are going to entertain their fans.
