Wild birds as pets?

so i have had many birds in my time. but i have always been in love with the corvus corax. is it possible to get papers allowing you to keep these beautiful birds a pet. b.t.w. i live in texas and i have pleny of room, not to mition i know EVERYTHING about ravens

  1. Sorry, but no. Keeping any kind of wild animal as a pet is illegal in the United States, with no exceptions.


  2. All native wild birds in North America are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

    There are no permits.  No one is allowed to own any native wild bird as a pet, including ravens.

    If you love ravens, you'll protect them in the wild, where they belong.

  3. Sorry, in the US it is illegal to keep any wild native bird as a pet..they are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.  You CAN legally own exotic crow and raven species.  Look here for more info:
