  1. I highly recommend that you release them.  You have no idea what the species is, and for all you know, they could be endangered or illegal to keep, as many wild animals are.

Once the nostalgia wears off, you're going to become bored with your wild, aggressive lizards.  Go get one at a pet store.  At least those are already accustomed to people and handling.

  2. Since you live in the US those lizards are protected by law.  It's prohibited to remove an animal from it's natural habitat.

Wild caught lizards don't tend to do well in captivity, and usually die.  They can also carry disease and parasites.

Try to put yourself in their place - How would you feel if someone stuck YOU in a jaw with giants staring at you.  They are terrified.  Stress can make them get sick, or even die.

I know you think they are cute, but the best thing for you to do is to return them to the wild.

If they touched your heart and made you want to have a lizard, then you need to start by googling lizards and finding out what kind you'd like to have.  From there you need to learn what they eat, and what kind of light, heat, and humidity they require.

Once you know all that, and have their habitat set up, then that is the time to buy some captive bred lizards for pets.

I know it's hard.  I know they are cute.  But they are also scared to death, and belong in the wild.  Do the right thing, and let them go.

I hope this has been helpful.

  3. it would be best to just let them go as most reptiles caught in the wild and put in captivity do not survive, but if you wish to keep them what kind are they?

  4. I'd love to help, but you've given too little information.

There's no way to give advice for lizard care without knowing what kind of lizards you have. There's no way to know what kind of lizards you have without seeing them, and there's no way to even take a guess of what they are without knowing the state and country you live in.

The most common lizards in the U.S. are anoles, geckos, spiny lizards (fence lizards), collared lizards, horned lizards, and skinks. I'd suggest you do a google image search on those 6 lizards and add more detail to the question.

  5. get a 10 gallon tank with some pet reptile bedding, few hiding places, water dish and buy crickets at the petstore................... remember buy crickets that are smaller than the creatures mouth.

  6. I'm guessing they are anoles?

    try this !!

  7. lol, tell ur sis it's best 2 let them go and u can get them cheap at a pet store!

  8. put em back where you found em . they will probably die  from shock and stress

  9. You let them go. that is all that you can do. taking them from the outside to a little aquarium is overly stressful. that is why anoles have a high death rate.

You can't keep them they will die. Unless, you have an invasive species then keep it. take the risk. You are doing more harm letting it go if it is invasive.

Describe it or post a pic. Length, bodily markings, outstanding features, etc...

anoles are not good for begginers. Try a leopard gecko, a fat tail gecko, or a crested gecko.

  10. Wild lizards can carry parasites and don't usually thrive in captivity, so it would be best to let them go. You can go to any petshop and get a lizard for just a few dollars. That way you can be sure they're healthy and the employees can give you advice about their care. Anoles are good for beginners and only cost about $5.

  11. just give them the basics until u find out more about them.

    they need

    -water dish

    -heat lamp

-sand or some other type of substrate

    -a hide

    - they should be able to eat crickets

so good luck but they dont eat or look unhealthy plz just let them go dont kill them
