Wild wing cafe in nc.. servers, ect only please..?

I really want this question answered by waiters and waitresses to answer... this question may seem weird to some but thanks in advance...

I went to a wild wing cafe in north carolina this past wednesday. it was me and my boyfriend. We went around 9pm, we didnt leave til around midnight, but kept the same table all night long. the section we were in wasnt very full either, most people were on the dance floor or at the bar... we dont usually go somewhere and stay that long, or a fraction of that time at most places, but we were having a great time.. Ok point being for that amount of time we kept that table was a $20 tip acceptable? we also both ate with fountain drinks, and then since i wasnt DD that night, had about 7 or 8 drinks.. The waitress never acted like we were a burdon or anything, and she was great.. Just wanted to know should we have tipped more than that?? thanks everybody!!

It's a Cafe, that is a great tip on a WEDS nite.. no worries. I am sure she was stoked to have it.

Yes that was a good tip! Kudos to you for asking, I've met so many thoughtless tippers.  You could always request the same server when you return, I'm sure she'd appreciate that.

That seems like that was a perfect tip! :) Good for you. I've been a server for about 5yrs, so I would be happy with that!
