  1. Proboaly not. It is just the state's natural diasters. I live in Louisiana, I went trough Hurricane Katrina.

  2. With wildfires, floods, tornadoes and hurricanes, not to mention 'Texas cornfed' locusts, what is God possibly trying to tell Texas?

  3. God is not saying anything. It is the Nature.

We built cities right on top of fire prone, flood prone, mudslide prone and earthquake prone areas. We are only realizing it now.

  4. the whole world is in perilous times! I've been in Cali my whole life n never been personally too affected by any natural disasters. but maybe these things can wake people up for the good!

  5. to quote the aflac goat: "nah, nah, nah"

  6. He must be saying what a great place it is compared to the rest of the US.  Those "disasters" affected an infinitesimal portion of the population.  Even the "Big One" likely to hit SoCal probably would be less damage than a Hurricane.

  7. Not so much, but the planet is.

But if I asked God about this, He might say, "Don't plant flamable or problematic vegetation by your house when you live within 2 miles of wild lands. Think twice about buying coastal property for the next 100 years or so, and don't build on geologically unstable property.

And then we'd chat about how humans have screwed up the climate and other natural resources on a perfectly good little planet!
