Wildlife foster carer?

i like a be a wildlife foster carer but i am not shur were to look does and one know were i can get the info from or if any one here might know for the mackay area

  1. First, if you want to care for or have wild animals, do not do this as a hobby or as an amateur.  Get trained because this is a full time job.

    You're best bet would be to begin with a college education in veterinary medicine or, even better, wildlife veterinary medicine.  Most people I have known have got undergraduate degrees in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field, then gone to a graduate program (vet school).

    You should call and visit a local wildlife foster care facility and talk to them about what it is like to have that career.
