That would be the Barn Owl (Tyto alba)....in my opinion...

I agree there are a lot of magnificent creatures, everything from butterflies to African birds (parrots etc.), the peacock, tigers/leapards/lions/zebras/giraffes.

Owls are very creepy to me yet amazing creatures none-the-less.  (In Italy they have no screens and I had one perched on my window each night...all you could see was those eerie eyes! LOL)

I guess if I had to pick one I would say BUTTERFLIES however.  There are so many species and they are indeed very beautiful and fragile.
