Wildlife specialist?

How does one become a wildlife specialist? Like what would be best to major in?

  1. Lab Tech , My sister works  in the forestry and wildlife areas. Her work is  a couple hours in the office and the rest of her day flying to different areas via helecopter . She loves it , hope this helps .


  2. When I was at Cornell U., you could major in wildlife conservation. A zoology major wouldn't be bad either. After graduation, you could either go on for graduate degrees or get a job, probably with a state fish and game department or with the US Fish & Wildlife Service. There are also a few jobs with private industry.

  3. TAKE A COARSE IN THAT AREA AND I THINK IT COMES WITH ON HAND LEARNING TO ......SO MUCH IN CLASSES AND ON SITE AS WELL..

  4. Volunteering is always a great start! You can gain alot of experience. You can also meet people who have done previous courses and that can give you great advice!

    Also, contact your local education facility to find out what courses they offer.
