  1. No, It's $48.50 per person for dinner.   And that does not include drinks, dessert, tip. I believe it's around $28.50 or $38.50 a person for lunch time, and it's all the same food. So that might be more in your budget. Lunch time converse are fine....dinner time, I would suggest dressing up a little more.  Have fun.

  2. No, it's not quite enough.  They have one fixed rate, excluding drinks or soda, tax ,and tip.  So, assuming you'll be drinking sodas with dinner, then you'll be safe taking $150.00.  Nix the converse.  This is a special place.  Have fun!

Oh, and add on $10-12 more if you want to share a dessert.

  3. I love Fogo De Chao.  You can take me!!

  4. No. You'll need more.

Dinner, drinks, dessert, will run you well over a hundred bucks, and closer to 200. Then there's the tip.

Also, you NEVER, and I must stress "NEVER" wear sneakers to a restaurant. In fact, you probably should wear a jacket (I mean like a blazer, NOT something like your favorite b-ball team). Your shirt should have buttons and a collar. Do NOT wear jeans or a velour tracksuit. Also, just say no to the grill. That all being said, you won't need a tie.

This is fine dining, not Olive Garden. Fine dining comes with a dress code, even if it is not explicit.

Yes, I know I sound like I'm too Old School, but so are places like Fogo.

  5. It sure should. And if she's considerate she wouldn't try ordering the highest thing on the menu. I live in san antonio and visit houston all the time

  6. No.  It's 48.50 per person for dinner and that does not include drinks, dessert, gratuity or tax.  They do not offer a a la carte menu so its all or nothing... :)  You don't want to wear converse...  The last time I was there i saw a couple of people with jeans on but they had on a nice shirt and shoes too...  If you go, make sure you try the cheese bread...It is fantastic!!

  7. No. I would take at least $200. And I would say no on the Converse, also.

  8. No,100 dollars would not be enough for dinner for two at fogo de chao?  The buffet costs 48.50 per person.  You have not yet added tax.  You have not yet bought drinks.  You have not yet eaten desserts.  You have not yet purchased any other extras that the attendant will offer.  I know this information for a fact because I took my wife there for our 2nd wedding anniversary.  I would say that 200 dollars is a more realistic amount to have if two are going to eat there.  I wonder if there are other elegant restaurants in Houston for cheaper prices and quality food and service.

  9. Ummm, Dallas its 80-90 per person on the cheap side. I have had as high as 240 just for me. Its not a cheap place.

There is a GREAT steak place in Katy, ill edit it if i can remember the name. Expensive but not fogo expensive.

  10. Barely and scratch the converse...go shiek
