Question:

Will 11-10-1 be enough for tigers?

Afte beating Brisbane ( what a great game that was for us)

Richmond play Geelong Crows Hawks Freo and Mel

Geelong will beat us *, Crows is a maybe,

Hawks should beat us, And we will beat Mel and Freo

So that will give us two, maybe three wins, which will take us to 11-10-1

Is that gonna be enough to get 8th spot?

What does the last five for the other teams vying for the eight look like, and who do you reckon will get 12 wins?

What will the final eight be, and who will get 9th and 10th?

*( but hopefully not by too much is case we need the percentage)

  1. **Richmond statistically could make the eight but I think in order for them to make it, other teams will have to miss out (obviously) and I think that there are several teams ahead of Richmond who will be stronger in the run home to the finals and will beat them.

Even if Richmond do miss the finals I don't think it'd be a bad thing for the club because I think they've got further than people expected them to this year (I for one didn't expect them to be playing as well as they are) and it'll give them a lot to work with in the next few years.**

  2. Even if it was, it would be irrelevant. Geelong will win the flag. The bottom 4 teams are just making up the numbers anyway.

  3. i hope lions make the 8.. just as a confidence booster 4 the younger players next year...

not sure if tigers will make the 8 tho... i agree with romper stomper although i havent worked out the maths on the lions (we have hawks and dogs :[  ) i have a feelin we could make it as long as we beat roos this week.. if not- i am giving up on finals...

although i dont think it matters who makes it coz geelong will win the flag 4 sure..

as long as they dont crack under the pressure if they face the pies early up...

they r the only team that deserve it as well and i dont care bout pies beatin them by heaps coz lions beat pies by 2 points but i highly doubt that lions could beat the cats...

the pies had a one-off and so did the cats..

it was just a good 1 4 the pies and a bad 1 4 the cats...

9th and 10th will be tigers and bombers (if roos make the 8)

if roos dont... they will take 1 of those spots and maybe bombers will be pushed out... but i dunno.. that is just my guess

  4. Geelong will win Crows will win i think the tigers might just beat Hawks you will beat mel and freo

i think the tigers will finish in the 8 just tho

    geelong will get 12 wins

the ladder at the end of the season will be i think:

    Westurn bulldogs

    Geelong

    Hawthron

    Crows

    Sydney

    Coligwood

    Brisbane

    Richmond

    thats the 8

    now the bottom

    Carlton

    Kangaroos

    St KILDA

    port

    fremantle

    eagles

    Melb

  5. after this last round you can't rely on anything, but I did a quick run down on matches-to-come after last weekend and figured the Tiges will be 10-11-1 at the end of the year. You guys play the Crows at their place this end of the season and I think that will get them over the line.

The eight, according to LBS, will be

Geelong...way out in front, like the bombers in 2000.

Doggies with 19 including another draw

    Hawks on 18

    Big jump to

    Swans on 13

    then

    Collingwood 12 and a draw

St Kilda 12 and a draw

    North 12 and a draw...rated on percentage

    Adelaide 12

    just outside the 8

    Richmond 10 and a draw

    Liars 10

Essendon 10 ...percentages apply here too

    then

    Carlton 8 and a draw

    then

    Port, Freo, Wussies and Melbourne.

So you may just miss out, but it won't be by percentage but one/two matches.

  6. The Tigers have performed well recently, and to be honest.... DON"T WRITE THEM OFF AGAINST CATS.   Geelong are excellent, no doubt but "all teams" can be beaten.   The tigers just have to keep winning .

  7. they have had a good year this year I thought statistically

  8. They're a chance, but it all depends on their percentage, and how the other teams perform at the end of the season.

    I know that Collingwood have:

    Hawks

    Saints

    Port

    Swans

    Freo

Hopefully they can win at least 3 out of those games.

That would take them to 12-9-0

    **fingers crossed**

Good luck to your Tiges, I'd rather see them in the 8 than some other teams!

  9. Theres a mathamatical chance

But who cares richmond wouldnt be able to do anything in the finals anyways.

Essendon is a chance but i dont want them to embarasse themselves in the finals.

next year mate for both clubs

    CARN THE DONS!!

  10. Yes

It will probably be enough to make the top eight. But do you really think many people care?

    RR = Y C S M D

  11. Are you serious with this question?

To answer it, the Tigers are only going through the motions anyway. If they do jag a spot in the eight they will be bundled out in their first finals match.

  12. It doesn't matter where the Tigers finish. It will be purely symbolic as Geelong will win the flag again.

  13. Sorry champ % is the killer, they wont make it

  14. 4 questions hey,  well here we go,  to put it simply if we only get 11.5   wins we'll miss out, it's too tight, we have to win the last 2 games, plus one the following, geel (no)  Adel (away) probably not even though we are 3/4 interstate this year,  or the Hawks,   we can beat them if we play our best footy, we gave them a good run in the first round, we need a bit of luck but who knows, that will be the one we have to win.

12.5 wins would get us there i think, that means winning 4/5, it'd be good to make the finals as a build up for next year.

Carlton will struggle to make it,  tough draw.

ess wont make it, their % is woefull.

    st.kilda,  hmmm, dunno,

i think there is one spot up for grabs, realistically, we wont win any of the next 3, and win the last 2, with 10.5, not enough, miss by a game & a half. probably..
