Will $13,000 AUD last 6 Months living in chile?

Hey guys, pretty straight forwards question, planning on going to Chile for 6 months start of next year, and just wondering, from personal experience, if $13,000 AUD will last me 6 Months living in Chile, as well as studying and pretty much running around and seeing everything?

The cost of food, drinks and entertainment in Chile is pretty affordable. So is transportation.

Housing cost can vary widely depending on the area and the living standard you are looking for. Sharing with other students can lower the cost. Renting a room from a Chilean family can be a great experience as you would be immersed in the culture.

My educated guess tells me that your 13K budget will do just fine. You'll love Chile, it's a beautiful place.

Does that include you housing and schooling or is that just for living cost?

I think it will be enough, but i've been wrong more than once.

It all depends on your lifestyle, but that budget is definitely doable.  Just keep in mind that the prices in Chile are much higher than the rest of Latin America, your money will stretch a lot further in different countries.
