I Was Told This By A Nurse, If Not What Is The Best Way To Cleanse Your Body?

I don't know about the eggs but I was told to take some lime juice in a glass of ice water after inadvertently drinking some sour milk. It seemed to help with rolling stomach.

I'd hate to think anyone in my profession would pass on that sort of recipe.  No, that concoction will not detoxify your system.  About all it's likely to do is give you diarrhea or an upset stomach.  There are no magic combos to drink or eat that will leach things out of your body.  The colon is a self cleaning setup, providing you eat a decent diet of real foods.  You do not have pockets of toxins hanging out in your colon, unless you have diverticulitis- in which case at least you'd have pockets.  Still they wouldn't be full of toxins.  It is extemely difficult to leach anything out of the human body.  The process is called chelation, and it requires some pretty nasty chemicals delivered via an intravenous line.  That means you need to be in the hospital, and be monitored constantly by doctors who know what they are doing, because it's a dangerous process as well.  Think about this a moment.  If something can be eaten or drunk, how in the world is it going to avoid being absorbed as well?  And what exactly makes you think it will leach anything out, and then leave?  No, dear- it's just not possible.  All those odd concoctions and potions sold to "detox" you are just fancy laxatives.  And diarrhea isn't anybody's friend.  All you have to do to stay in good working order is eat a sensible diet of real foods, heavy on the fruits, veggies and whole grains, light on the red meat and refined flour products.  Your colon doesn't need cleaning and it won't appreciate the efforts either.  Nurse or not, that was just one nauseating drink mix recipe you can dump in the trash.
