No, but given that they have aggresively advocated for what we now all recognize as unconstitutional laws, maybe they will pick a couple of new ones !

No, but now California has a choice, either become a "shall issue" concealed carry state or ban concealed carry.  If they issue a concealed carry permit/license to even ONE person, they have to issue concealed carry permits to ALL who apply who are not prohibited persons.

No. But (perhaps) the unveiling of an hypocrisy. After Dianne Feinstein became Mayor of San Francisco after the murder of Mayor Moscone, she was one of only a dozen people (all government officials) to have concealed-carry weapons permits in San Francisco.

No.  California has an assault weapons ban and Sen. Feinstein became mayor after her predecessor was gunned down.   So, many Californians are supportive of gun control and remember the kinds of tragedies that led to it.  Also, I think you'll see a number of law enforcement officials criticize the ramifications of this decision.  All in all, California's senators will  look more measured, responsible and pro law enforcement on this issue.
