one might fit in the trunk, but not for use on the car.  The biggest you might be able to go is 20's but the sidewall would be so small that the first pot hole you hit will bend the rim and then you'll have to buy another one.

I have a 84 Monte But I wouldn't put those tacky wheel's on it. I would put some drag lites on it. Mine currently has Corvette Mags on it.

20" max.... Where would you put your tire on a 30" rim? Plus if you were to spend that kind of money on 30" wheels, you could buy a newer car

I take it that you're trying to make your car look like a steam locomotive, hence the reason you listed this question in the rail section. I'm actually all for that. Just ignore the wheel wells and put the wheels on outside the body with longer axles.
