  1. No that won't cover it... I got a baby beardie that was 60 bucks and it cost over 300 for all the expenses.

  2. well yah $300 is bigger than $90 you just need to go back to school

  3. He forgot the UV lighting. Dragons need that also.

So to answer your question. NO, 300 won't be enough to PROPERLY set up your dragon's viv. Please be sure to research before you jump into getting a new pet.

  4. Here is a price list of everything you need to succesfully house a beardy!! And you can't skimp, or your beardy could die

An adult needs at LEAST a fifty gallon tank! Depending on where you get it, 1 55gallon = 100$

Screen Lid for tank = 21.99$

Calci Sand Bedding = 11.99$ per 10lb bag. You will need about 3-4 bags, so for 4 bags = 47.96

You need some decor and wood stumps for him to crawl on and bask on. 1 large wood decoration = 24.99$

You will need some kind of cave or plastic reptile hideout for him to hide in. On average = 15.99$

A waterbowl large enough for him to completely soak in! Beardys do like to soak occasionally = 19.99$

You need a heat lamp, and the largest size to fit the tank. 1 large heat lamp = 18.99$

Then you need the bulb for the heat lamp. I would recomend at least a 150 watt basking bulb, but moniter the temperature, and you may have to go up to 200 watts. 1 bulb = 8.99$

    GRAND TOTAL = 258.90$

    Plus 1 beardy = 348.90$

Plus 50 large crickets at .10 CENTS a piece, to feed him for one week = 353.90

EDIT Depending on the type of basking bulb, most of them include UV lighting. That's why it's a basking bulb...
