I have the money I just can't find my debit card, but I have the info saved on a website account. I want to place an order, but I am not sure how much I have in the free checking account., I know I have plenty in the savngs. Will 53 charge me for placing the order and having them transfer money over for me?

  1. some banks will charge you if you go in the red in one account regardless what is in an other one. that's where they make the big money

  2. Not familiar with their banking practices, however you can try to transfer it over the phone.  Lots of banks will allow a transfer from saving to checking for free.  They may charge you but more than likely they wont especially if you have the money in the account.  But see if you can get overdraft protection.  That would stop all of that.

  3. No, you won't be charged, if you have a checking and savings account, it will automatically transfer the money you need from savings into the checking at no charge as a courtesy.
