Will A SLR Performance Resistor work in a Dodge 5.7L HEMI, it cost around $69?

SLR calls it a chip but its just a little black box with two wires coming out of it....

  1. That's a waste of money, twice times.

    First, when you buy it.

    Second, when your MPG goes down, as it causes more gas to be injected into the cylinders.

    Save you money and put a performance exhaust on it.


  2. yeah  what he says. its just a resistor that fools the computer in to thinking the air comming in  is colder than what it really is. so  the computer dumps more fuel in. all your doing is wasting fuel and not gaining nothing. if you have unburnt fuel  it will ruin your cat.

    plus it prob cost them less than  a buck  to  make the thing.  

  3. really you,ll loose money two times on this because all that does is fool the computer and make it use a lot more gas,so you wont gain nothing by it,i gave one away that was on my truck when i got it,and my gas mileage went up,and now mine actually runs better than it did,you can try it but id say you wot like it too much,good luck.
