It is an golden moment in Indian sports History so Congratulations to all INDIAN'S and I agree with Kapil Paji that this is far bigger than any other sporting achievement.

umm pardon my ignorance, but in what sport did they win it in? seriously now that you've mentioned it i would like to know

EDIT: Ah ok, fair enough, well done to them, but wouldnt this question be better served if it wasnt in the cricket section, perhaps somewhere such as the Olympic or India section? cos for the life of me i can't work out how this has anything at all to do with cricket

Yeah, might be equal to the '83 world cup victory. Problem is, no one really cared about that event. It wasn't televised in either Europe or America, and I bet only a handful of people even bothered watching online. I would have said that it was golden moment if India had won in say swimming or track and field, that would have been something. As it stands now... cricket RULES over shooting.
